Irish Varsity Prevails Over Guerin Nazareth 6-2

Derien Denoyer slams two goals while Irish Varsity scores four goals in the second, goes on to win the game, takes streak of wins to 5 games

Irish Varsity beat Guerin Nazareth 6 - 2 on Sunday. Guerin Nazareth chalked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Irish Varsity took over the lead in the second period with four unanswered goals. Guerin Nazareth were not able to answer back. In the final period Irish Varsity scored two straight goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Irish Varsity's Derien Denoyer scored two goals for Irish Varsity and also had one helper. During the second period, Denoyer put the puck in the net. Tylor Condon assisted on this goal. Irish Varsity fired up their game when Denoyer put the biscuit over the goal line in the third period. Andrew Andersen and Justin Windeler got the assists on this goal. Ronny Nayder, Colin Renville, Tylor Condon, and Andrew Andersen each added one goal for Irish Varsity.

Leading the way for Irish Varsity, Blake Clatterbuck blocked 21 out of 23 shots on goal to earn the win. Guerin Nazareth's Goalie Player had only 25 saves on 31 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Irish Varsity continued their current win streak of four games and ended the game with a record of 12 wins and 9 losses. Guerin Nazareth ended the game with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses.
